Quick post is quick!

Somehow made it with my half-assed attempt at Russia yesterday. Sayang talaga the coat I was sewing didn't work out - it looked more like a hospital robe than a trench coat! Right now I'm looking to salvage it, but I am also in search of a darker brown cloth for a second attempt. If I don't find one I'll start looking for alternative means of darkening the cloth itself. Kaya nga may cloth dye, right?

The event was really crowded, in spite of the uncertain weather. Cosplaying as Russia meant I was also being stopped by the different Hetalia groups. Nice to meet you all! I'm kinda sad the photos I took didn't turn out as well as the ones from Otaku Taiiki, but then I already knew I was gonna run into trouble the moment I saw the lighting in the con. Note to camera users: Kodak Easyshare sucks in low-light or artificial light environments. The pixellation is just too much. :\ It works best with natural lighting though!

I hope to attend the next con with my sister and more people to form a bigger Hetalia group. <strike>We can have more to be one with Russia, Y/Y?</strike> I also kinda want a photoshoot with my sister's Chibitalia and HRE, but one, our camera is evil, two, we need a 3rd person to take the photos, and three, a secluded location because goodness, aprons and capes ftw!
