It's making the rounds, this wishlist meme

I've already seen the wishlists of three of my friends. ^^;

Step One

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

So, here goes:

1 - Music that you like or think I'll find interesting. Considering I happened to twirl about to Ya Habibi for a whole week this should be fun. mp3s are okay.

2 - A how-to guide that you think I'll find interesting. That includes, but is not limited to, recipes, origami folding, sewing tips, drawing and other tutorials. Online ones are okay. ^_^

3 - A book (or its e-text version) that you'd highly recommend I read.

4 - ANYTHING ON RIZAL, THE PROPAGANDISTAS, OR THE REVOLUTIONARIES. ♥ Essays, books, articles, heck, fanart, fanfic, FSTs, I will accept!

5 - Fanart for my favorite Hikaru no Go, Prince of Tennis, Saint Seiya, Eyeshield 21 or Harry Potter characters? :D The list of my favorite characters so far includes: Ogata, Hong SuYeong, Kaidoh, Inui, the whole Rikkai team ^^;, the whole Hyotei team ^^;;, Virgo Shaka, Phoenix Ikki, Pisces Aphrodite, the Gemini Twins, the Oujou Knights Trio, Hiruma, Snape, Lupin, and the three eldest Weasley boys.

6 - Fanfic for my fandoms. That would primarily be the three Obata series (Hikaru no Go, Karakuri Zoushi Ayatsuri Sakon, Death Note), Tenipuri, Eyeshield21, Saint Seiya, Harry Potter, Bt'X (Oh, Kotaro-chan!), and Rizal! O_o I should add more, but I'm running out of brain cells. See the list of characters I like from #5.

7 - A non-wonky version of OpenCanvas. One that won't crash, do illegal operations, or not save OCIs. Please. ;_; OH MY GOD, [livejournal.com profile] ashesto should have a new country named after her. ♥ Thank you so much! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

8 - A funky hat. ^_^ Cat ears, clown hats, top hat, etc., etc. as long as it's a funky hat.

9 - A copy of the movie "French Kiss", "Much Ado about Nothing", anything with Alan Rickman (yes, even the ones I've seen before!), or the Noli Me Tangere miniseries produced by the NCCP. (Hm. It's the third Rizal reference!)

10 - A big coffee mug with a matte finish. My black one got broken without anyone telling me. *misses that coffee mug terribly*
