*pops right back here*
A quick post to assure you all that I'm still alive, and rather pleased by my computer upgrade. I've finally retired Figaro after eight long years of support, and now my desktop, aptly named Edgar, is taking the brunt of the downloading/browsing/art-making workload. I've only gone through a tenth of its one terabyte HDD, and I'm crossing my fingers it won't take me less than six months to run out of space. Which is entirely possible, you know! :D

I've been messing around the kitchen making chocolates. My first attempt at it was pretty bad, since I used milk chocolate and it was very sweet. I've also tried flavoring chocolate with orange and strawberry, with mixed success. I had unfortunately purchased some alcohol-based flavoring, which caused the chocolate to form in unsightly chunks. The ones pictured here are the latest iteration: premium chocolate + peppermint oil flavoring. They're very refreshing, and I only used one drop of oil compared to the teaspoon and a half for the alcohol-based flavors. The only thing I'm not doing right is tempering the chocolate so its all glossy, but practice makes perfect.

This is a color study for a sketch I'm still working on. I missed posting for the first month of a decade of Snupin, because I was going back and forth on what drawing to finish. I've finally decided on this one, which is a walk in the beach for Marauders Era!Snupin which I'll submit for February. I hope
_lore will let us make a catch up post x_X
