Now there's a lot of things I would ban if I could, but one I never really understood the fascination for is balut. And to think you see it everywhere here! :D I have to say I only ever ate penoy so I don't really know what balut tastes like, but yeah. The picture says it all. >_>

First of all, I would not ban foods. I would like to deny to cheat consumers. Chemical dyes and preservatives make the food beautiful and dead. A sort of glamor in the food industry. Penoy is made like balut, except the egg isn't fertilized, so you get the yolk and the salty albumin without the alien lifeform. ^^;
