• Blind Go, the Hikaru no Go guess-the-writer challenge, is at its tenth iteration. Yes you saw it right. TENTH. Sign ups are until Sept 10 here, with the theme Sai. Minimum wordcount is 250 words, with no maximum wordcount limit. And if you're insane, you can submit up to ten fics. :D
  
  
• If you're new to my f-list, you might not know I ship Severus Snape with Remus Lupin of the HP-verse. (It's okay if you don't ship it, I won't try to convert you or anything!) We're having a Snupin Santa sign up post until Aug 24, and we've got less than 30 signups. That means we're not going to have entries enough for a month! *cries manly tears* Sign ups on lj can be found here, and on insanejournal here. I'm participating this year, which means that whoever is my recipient will be getting art. Lots of art, really. I have evil plans.
  

First: congratulations to team Morishita~♥ So I kinda went overboard to answer prompts, but it was all for good, since Team Morishita won. ^_^ Many thanks troisroyaumes for setting this challenge up. I hope the Hokuto Cup challenge next week turn out to be just as entertaining.

I'm enjoying the last few hours before my workweek starts by watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama and finishing some art I've owed for ages. Right now I'm in the midst of putting text for a certain thing I've owed for more than a year.

blind_go updates: fic 1 (in the DS) at 135 words, which will definitely dramatically increase over the weekend. Fic 2 (the round 5 one) is at 728 words, though that might change as I'm cutting off at least 50 of the introduction because I decided to leave the insei out of the story. fic 3 does not exist, and I have people probably crossing their fingers saying please god don't do it, Pye! =(=(=(=( (ilu cousin~♥)

Work is a bit too much as usual, as I have the worst luck with calls. If they don't call in for something that involves taking your computer apart, something happens to your copy of Windows that makes this rep cringe. =( My only comfort is I still have two weeks to catch up. Damn you promotion metrics!

On TV I just came from watching the first episode of Pandora Hearts. I was so excited about it, because I liked the manga (somewhat) but I may skip it now for more 07-Ghost (why hi there Frau you pervert monk). The animation wasn't that good IMHO, which makes me wonder why I can keep watching Hakushaku to Yosei for ten continuous episodes and not see how Oz and the rest will turn out for a few more eps. =(

( I am watching too much of this particular series I will not name but hey, I had a sketchpad and green ink, let's draw them and see if anyone will recognize it. )

I'll be going off on an errand in a bit, but I have to say that I'll be spending most of it dressing up a bear my coworker lent me :D

Blind Go: possible first fic word count cannot be determined as it's in the DS. 2nd fic which was a B_G round 5 fic I never submitted is currently at 318 words. And Ogata demands to play for a possible 3RD fic. Urk.

Painter Essentials first attempt! It's remarkably similar to my first painter attempt a few years ago. *laughs*

osmalic asked me if Opencanvas was okay to keep - I believe she was planning to scrap her copy of Photoshop on her pc. I told her it was good enough for doodling, but for pro work she'd better keep Photoshop in. As a mini-challenge, I tried to color a random sketch in 30 minutes in OC. This is the result.

Thanks to all those who showed concern over my last post - I'm trying to be healthier by eating and sleeping right, even to the point that I slept through the Tousei vs Nishiura match in Oofuri O_o;;; Ah, darn it, I think I'll have to go back and start from the 3rd inning again!

Discovery of the week Google docs can be used at work - but not gmail. What the heck. This does mean that I can view and edit files at work, which is always good when it comes to fandom-y stuff and clearing up my office inbox. It would be fun if Ariri-nee could access google docs too and we can edit death games. Chapter 3 is still pending, omg how long had it been!? ^_^;;;; Ariri-nee move over to technical support so you can browse non-business related sites lololol.


Y-yeah quicky sketch of Ochi and Shindou. This sketch is missing two people because I didn't have time to finish their drawings. Guess who those other two are. :)


Current art WIP is Kyodoroki, a colored version of this rough sketch and I think I didn't get Kyouya's expression right. I rather prefer the one from the sketch. *sigh*
