• Blind Go, the Hikaru no Go guess-the-writer challenge, is at its tenth iteration. Yes you saw it right. TENTH. Sign ups are until Sept 10 here, with the theme Sai. Minimum wordcount is 250 words, with no maximum wordcount limit. And if you're insane, you can submit up to ten fics. :D
  
  
• If you're new to my f-list, you might not know I ship Severus Snape with Remus Lupin of the HP-verse. (It's okay if you don't ship it, I won't try to convert you or anything!) We're having a Snupin Santa sign up post until Aug 24, and we've got less than 30 signups. That means we're not going to have entries enough for a month! *cries manly tears* Sign ups on lj can be found here, and on insanejournal here. I'm participating this year, which means that whoever is my recipient will be getting art. Lots of art, really. I have evil plans.
  

Con season's starting in my country - or did it even end? I'm not sure - but the more interesting cons usually happens on the second half of the year. This picspam is of MetroComicon, which in itself acts like a preview to the goodness of the November Komikon.

The Snape thing is much, much more difficult than I thought. I wanted the myth to sound like it came from a fairy tale, so let me read my Grimm's, my Andersen's, my Hoffmann's, before I attempt to do so. Well, it's also reference reading for Monster, so....^_^;; It's v. important, because the myth takes up more than half of the story, like a tale within a tale....
