Fic/art update: Completely and utterly behind. I'll speed through Death games chapter 3 and Interlude this weekend *crosses fingers* and spazz for holmesian and pot_exchange plots. (Plots? I need no plots! We can make fic by spazzing.) I hope I don't confuse one for the other, because I'd hate to ritually murder someone in Tenipuri. All I know about my mystery fic is it's not gonna involve a locked room. O_o; As for art, weeeell, I haven't faced Figaro the whole week, but I have sketches of everything I owe planned out. It's the prettying it up that's taking me a while.
Also, hugs and glomps to everyone in my flist, I've been a bit busy these past few days. And eep, imouto and osmalic, sorry about the googletalk thing. I was silly and forgot to turn off the auto-sign in feature, and it must've been weird to hear from my mom. I know I'd be a bit weirded out if imouto-mama told me you were offline.
I've seen Team Manila graphic designs featured in lifestyle shows before, but I've never seen one of their t-shirts on an actual person before. It featured Rizal, Bonifacio and Aguinaldo sporting chic sunglasses (scroll down to the lowest row here and you'll see it.) Being the Rizal fangirl that I am, I had to stop the person and ask where he bought it. Now I have to ask: is there really a Team Manila store in the Podium, and if there is, will I not get lost if I try to find it? My poor sense of direction believes otherwise. :P | Mood dorky Music The Fray - Unsaid Tags: rizal

So osmalic and I needed a break in between what we're doing. So we're dealing with our fangirling in different ways. We've completely ruined Rizal and Harry Potter.
Warnings: Rizal El Fili characters acting extremely OOC, crack, mentions of harems and ships and rooster synonyms.
( Isagani x Basilio OTP ) An attempt at RP-ing Snape and Lupin, by osmalic and me. We switched around halfway through the scene, so I was originally doing Remus, then became Severus. We managed to stop at a reasonable spot. Warnings: Plotless. :D But hey, seems like it can be turned into a fic. ( Snupin chatting XD )Music sharing for the week: Vienna Teng's Nothing Without You. There are a few other songs there, and I think I'll be using this for most of my uploads now. ^_^ At least I can keep track of the files now. ( Vienna Teng: Nothing without you lyrics )EDIT: I victimized mierin_lanfear with an outstandingly OOC Getbackers Jackal to go with her Claudia, and thus ended up with a fic I need to do. XD I must be a masochist, or as an H/D fic put it, "the world's only living brain donor." (I did not just quote an H/D fic.) EDIT #2: Oh, wow, she posted it in its entirety. *dead* <= Much wicked fun is had, though still vanilla? :D EDIT #3: F-f-f-locked, sorry. Unlocked, and having weird delayed foreplay RP again. O_O Will the hurting ever stop? :D

Jose Rizal on Wikipedia A Jose Rizal site in both English and Tagalog.
Those pages are actually at the top of a set of book guides. If I was in the mood I'd translate them to English, but I'm a bit busy right now. O_o And my crack versions of their description (with help from osmalic) sound scary in the calm light of day: ( Cracked edition. Might cause choking and gnawing on desktops )Yet another Rizal site. Ignore the graphics, and check out the list of articles pertaining to perceptions of Rizal as a hero. Jose Rizal on Project Gutenberg. Both El Fili and Noli are translations by Charles Derbyshire. I think I have an extra copy of the translation by Leon Ma Guerrero, but what I want is a list of the quotations used in chapter headings. Anyone know where to find them? *** Re: holmesian Still hedging over what to write, but I did find out that doing an advanced search for "detective stories" in Project Guterberg yields works by Arthur Conan Doyle, Honoré de Balzac, and two books by Agatha Christie. The search results seem to include some horror mysteries as well, but I haven't checked it out. I'm going to download a couple of the Lock and Key Library, edited by Julian Hawthorne, to sample what he thinks were the best of the mysteries back in the days of yore. :D The University of Adelaide e-text library has a list of books under the theme "crime". I've yet to look through the authors list and check if they missed mentioning something in their collection, but it links to a download of the complete Father Brown stories by G.K.Chesterton.
