Sick right now though the head cold finally left my head and took permanent residence in my nose. WOE. But hey, I'm feeling much better after two days of rest, and all I need to do is to find my schedule for the rest of March and I'll be good to go.

I signed up for a few art challenges this March, having rrealized that February went by with me just finishing ONE piece of art.

Figaro, my beloved, ever-patient and long-suffering desktop pc, is acting up. When I reattach my penkeyboard and turn it on, it makes strange crackling sounds in its depths. No~, does that mean it can't handle the slew of gorgeous half-naked men I've been doing?! I don't think a pc can get jealous over silly pixels, do you?

That means that yes, my Aurally Inspired art are stuck in limbo. T_T In frustration, I took out some paper and sketched, but any attempt at drawing failed miserably. Trust my mood to affect my hands. Anyway, I got a page scanned, and the results were okay. Sorry if they're messy - I did eveything on medium gsm bond paper, and the creases showed after I cleaned them up.

Ah, my copy of kewlpAd's back to normal. For a few weeks it went berserk when it was stretched beyond its limits. I don't know, but I really hated using notepad to type again. It must be some sort of aesthetic imbalance. I try to match my desktop colors, and I go insane when one element doesn't match with the rest. Hence the Chobits layout for the past week which has now been replaced by a sad sepia Renji. ^_^

The LO doujin contest requires digital screentones, so I busied myself the other day to fetch some all over the place. The ones I used were from this page. this just made me go "gyah" at the difficulties - I draw very messily, so laying down the tones on PS7 meant hell.

"They don't suit you - you're so uncool with them." Gakuto thought Yuushi looked cool whatever he wore - or did not wear - but he was feeling very contradictory today. Antsy, Shisido would say, but that's not Gakuto-ish. It must've been all the girls around him even before they got into the campus. Just because it was Valentine's they thought they could hang around the Kansai boy so Yuushi can call them by their names and flirt tenderly. He had to go ahead to practice with Ohtori and Shishido and watching them so sweet on each other just made him feel gross. "Were they presents?"

"Jealous, Gaku-chan?" Yuushi teased, sliding long fingers into Gakuto's red hair, trailing them down to massage Gakuto's skin just under the collar. Gakuto shook his head.

osmalic's LE challenge (140 words)

The signal was a finger to his lips, as he mock-contemplated the complexity of their latest Transfiguration assignment. Lily's reply, sent above the bread and cheeseboard during luncheon, was a mere toss of the head to her right, a glance to the House Slytherin. They managed to walk out of the Great Hall together, and somehow it was passed before James pulled Remus away for a new bit of mischief.

An unsealed scrap of parchment, folded twice and tied with a ragged piece of twine tying his last package from home. She fingered it gently, before heading to her next class.

She nudged books off Severus' table, and he bent to gather them with a muttered curse. She sweetly apologized as she slipped the note in his sleeve, and his stuttered thanks brought a smile at the foibles of lovestruck boys.

Moon (13 squared)

"Maybe she shouldn't have," Lupin conceded, tracing the contours of the goblet with one slim finger. "It must've been the only way she could have him for herself alone, and she did it. But then when you're in love you don't really know what you're doing, isn't that so, Severus?"

That was something that he had understood - achingly so, during his student years in Hogwarts. Always, he sought out a certain figure among Gryffindor's ranks, and always, he'd turn away before their eyes would chance to meet. Hating that weakness, and yet unable to fight it, such a desire had caused the goddess of the myth to imprison her beloved in slumber. It had not made sense, but she'd wanted to grasp at any chance to be by his chance. A hollow remnant of a similar desire had echoed deep in Snape at the start of this year's term, when he'd first gazed at Lupin again. He'd chosen to ignore it then. His old excuses rang true still.

Gyorho (Someone help me come up with a title!) (235 words)

"Shindou knows what it is like to lose something important," he added, writing down kanji spelling the name 'Sai' in the space below the grid. "There was someone by the name of Sai, whose ghost seemed to hover above Shindou. Sai also played go, and he was stronger than anyone I have ever known, but somehow, when all the clues came together all I can think was, 'Sai was inside Shindou.' I knew it, and I told him, on the first game we ever had since he became a professional, but he said that maybe in the future he can tell me what Sai was for him."

"What does it mean for me?"

"When I think about that, I think of how it is for you," Akira continued. "You've lost something very important, and I think you want to find it, but if you do you might go about it the wrong way, and so you're afraid. Shindou almost quit go a year ago, and no one knows why up to now. Maybe no one will find out, maybe it had everything or nothing to do with Sai, but I don't want to betray his trust by asking about it, to him or to the people around him. For me, it is only Shindou who matters, not Sai. Sai is only important because he was the one who showed me what Shindou has become now."

- in the OAV, Haruie's beloved was not really part of the Mekai Uesugi army, and can be ignored, yes?

Random comment: Yup, Oda Nobunaga is yet again the Evil Bad Guy (and yes, the term is redundant).

Please reply while the episodes are still fresh on my mind. Or better yet, can you tell me where I can find all of this info? By the way, there's a silly way to get Ayatsuri Sakon in the story as well, if I'm mad enough to work it out. ^_^;

I listened to the English sub for episode 7, and it made me giggle. Hearing Naoe say, "You're the one that ruins me" was just priceless. And then "Do you have any idea what I desire?" *laughs helplessly at the image of American seiyuu wondering what the heck they got themselves into* Just a random genki happy moment before I get down to the business of trying to regain my sanity.

Death games, a little note: I could have found Akira's shikai release word - Choubuku (Exorcise). XD The heck is it? At the rate it's going, it's going to be a BxHnGxHnM fic :P Noo~ It doesn't help that right now Saiki-san is looking a bit too much like a certain Virgo Gold Saint as I draw him.

It turns out that Akira's 'thing' can be regarded as an unreleased zanpakuto instead of constantly being in shikai - given that Yama-jii and Uruhara have canes to serve as their unreleased zanpakuto. ^^; Just a thought. No, I'm just looking for a way to not think about him attaining bankai, but having him use the chains.

Time to read Book 6 again,just so I can figure out what I'm supposed to do.

For people who've read HP 5: Remus hasn't been cured of his werewolfishness, right? (Werewolfishness - what a word.) I've read book 6, and though he was mentioned in passing *cries* I didn't really know much about what happened to him since.

Gyorho is the file name of my angst!BleachxSpirited AwayxHikaru no Go fic. I don't have a title for the set, so I still call it the Gyorho fic when I think about it. This is set in that continuum, I think, though of course Ariri-nee will beg to differ, since she wants Byakuya with someon else, but I'm not saying they're a pair. Ukitake is too self-contained, and the thought of him and Izuko of SkyHigh is really nice. XD
